How the Fund Works

The main investment strategy of the Fund is to achieve long-term appreciation of the entrusted funds through investments mainly in receivables from non-performing loans (NPLs) from legal and natural persons. Furthermore, investments in participations in commercial corporations active in the field of loan recovery. Territorially, the fund focuses mainly on Central and Eastern Europe, South East Asia and South America.

The high credibility of the fund is also guaranteed by the fact that the fund focuses exclusively on cooperation only with companies that hold a license from the local national bank in a given country.

Management of the Fund

Pavel Makovec

He has in-depth knowledge of investment banking, collective investment, securities issues, capital markets, as well as economic analysis, corporate finance and risk management. He has gained experience in New York, London and Milan. He also worked in a number of Czech companies, participated in the revival of the Prague Stock Exchange and, among other things, initiated and prepared a project of savings bonds for citizens. He is the Chairman of the Investment Committee of r2p invest SICAV, a.s. and the President of the Association of Qualified Investors Funds.  

Petr Rasocha

In senior management positions, he has been very successfully involved not only in the management of banking and financial institutions, but also in start-up projects. He is an expert in restructuring and management of a wide range of asset types. He has comprehensive knowledge of banking, legal and other regulatory requirements, not only in the Czech Republic but also in many other countries. He has worked in several renowned global groups.

Vojtěch Krebs

prof. Ing. Vojtěch Krebs, CSc. is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Fund. In his academic career, he focuses mainly on social policy issues with a focus on social security. His professional career is linked to the University of Economics in Prague, where he received his professorship in 2003. He is a member of scientific councils and is active in a number of domestic and foreign companies and organizations.

Only qualified investors within the meaning of § 272 of Act No.240/2013 Coll., on Investment Companies and Investment Funds may become investors in the Fund. The Fund warns investors that the value of an investment in the Funds may go down as well as up and the return of the amount originally invested is not guaranteed. The Fund's performance in previous periods does not guarantee the same or better performance in the future. An investment in the Fund is intended to provide a return when held for the long term and is therefore not suitable for short-term speculation. Prospective investors should particularly consider the specific risks that may arise from the Fund's investment objectives as set out in the Articles of Association. The investment objectives are reflected in the recommended investment horizon.
